Beer festival branding for the Change in the Air Festival and Foundation

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT

The craft beer industry in the United States is a major economic driver representing $83 billion dollars and well over half a million jobs, yet there are less than 5% people of color represented within its ranks. Craft beer is an enormous sector of the American economy and intrinsic to its culture. It is crucial that we collectively do better in helping the industry reflect the actual diversity within American society.

West Hartford, CT

“Aluminum Can Cassie” is a three-dimensional mural installation in the tasting room at Austin Street Brewery’s Fox St. location in Portland, Maine.

The Squatch Squad is a series of 20 illustrations (some of which you can see here) completed in 2022. Each illustration is a play on the various species of Bigfoot type creatures from around the globe. They are hand-drawn highly detailed digital pieces created in Adobe Photoshop. They can take up to several months each to complete.

Work from this series has been featured in numerous exhibitions across the United States and has received recognition from the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, Creative Quarterly Magazine 53,54 & 55, 3x3 Magazine and the Connecticut Art Directors Club’s Gold and Silver Awards in the Illustration categories. Seven pieces have also been featured on internationally distributed beer cans by Collective Arts Brewing, Hamilton, ON, Canada.

“The Hop King” was named the 2017 CONNARTIST winner by Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford, CT. It can currently be seen in the tasting room of the brewery gracing the front of one of the fermentor tanks.
